I dance in the rain, twirl in the grass, climb trees, listen to wind chimes, explore lands, laugh, sing, slash in puddles, smell flowers, stand on my hands, play with insects, draw, swim in the sea, leap off cliffs, puzzle, make messes, jump on beds, fly, ride horses, read, treasure silence, stretch, row boats, and capture what moments I can by pressing the shutter.

About
Anastacia’s love of photography began 18 years ago upon her arrival to the hauntingly beautiful city of New Orleans, which was her home until recently. She left New Orleans in 2015 and spent a year exploring Southeast Asia. Following that adventure, she spent another year living in her car traveling across the United States, hiking, camping and volunteering her way through 43 of the 50 states. She calls the beautiful Pacific Northwest home, for now.
Her passion is portraits. She enjoys capturing humans in their natural setting and in imagined ones she creates to open a window to an unexplored world. Pulling out what lies just behind the eyes to tell a story of each person’s individuality that questions the idea of what is real and what is created. Looking for the light within the shadows, Anastacia wants to photograph the dreams that live within us all.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Orleans. Anastacia works as a freelance photographer and when she isn’t pressing the shutter, Anastacia is planning her next travel adventure.
